Simon is an award winning writer/ director originally from Leeds. Having started out in the animation world, Simon began combining his work with live action elements, leading to his short film MANOMAN. The film premiered at the Cannes Film Festival and went on to screen at over 100 others including Sundance, SXSW and Telluride. The film was also nominated for a BAFTA and BIFA.
After graduating from the National Film and Television School he went straight into the world of London commercials before making his 2018 short, WOE IS ME, funded by BFI Network and Creative England. The film is currently on the festival circuit, having already won First Prize at Rhode Island.
His debut feature project THE VOICE AND ITS ECHO was selected for the iFeatures scheme in 2018, backed by Creative England, BFI and BBC Films and has since been picked up for funded development with BBC Films.
