Rose Lewenstein trained at the Central School of Speech & Drama and has participated in various Royal Court writers programmes, including the 2012 Supergroup. Her most recent play COUGAR (directed by Chelsea Walker) was produced in February 2019 at the Orange Tree Theatre.
As well as working in theatre, Rose is currently developing a number of TV projects including original musical dramedy series TROLL (Hillbilly Films); SELF (Kudos); and an adaptation of best selling novel THE FLATSHARE for BBC (42). Last year she wrote THAT GIRL, a single drama that formed part of the Channel 4 new drama anthology ON THE EDGE. She is currently working on an adaptation of the Irvine Welsh novel SEX LIVES OF SIAMESE TWINS with Buccaneer.
Rose also writes original songs and performs in the cult comedy cabaret act The Sex Shells. They had a residency at The Glory as well as sell out runs at Edinburgh Festival and Soho Theatre.
