Nathaniel Martello-White is an award winning actor-writer-director. He is currently working on a feature film adaptation of his play TORN (Royal Court Theatre) with The Bureau, called DUMBARTON ROAD, which he will shoot in early 2020, and is being financed by Film 4/BFI. He is also working on a TV adaptation of his first play BLACKTA (Young Vic Theatre) with Dancing Ledge Productions. Nathaniel also has several original TV projects in the early stages of development, including FRAGMENTS (BBC Studios) and B.S. (VAL for Channel 4). He is also writing a theatre adaptation of his award winning short film CLA’AM (Best UK short Raindance & premiered at SXSW) for Headlong and a new play for the Royal Court. As an actor, Nathaniel is currently starring in Steve McQueen’s SMALL AXE for BBC1/Amazon.
