Laurie is the winner of the 2019 Evening Standard Award for Best Emerging Talent for his role in THE SON at the Duke of York's theatre, London. He was also nominated in the Best Actor in a Play category at the 2020 Whatsonstage Awards.
He will soon be seen playing 'Krissi' in HOW TO BUILD A GIRL opposite Beanie Feldstein and directed by Coky Giedroyc for Film4 and can be seen in Amazon series THE FEED based on the novel by Nick Clark Windo.
Last year saw Laurie playing the role of 'Oisin' in award-winning West End play THE FERRYMAN directed by Sam Mendes. He filmed the lead role of Stevie in independent feature UNDERCLIFFE for Open Palm Films as well as Johnny Marr in Morrissey biopic ENGLAND IS MINE. will soon be seen in independent feature INTRIGO based on the best-selling novel by Hakan Nesser, directed by Daniel Alfredson. He also played the young Danny Baker in CRADLE TO GRAVE directed by Sandy Johnson for BBC2.
Laurie was announced as one of the Screen Stars of Tomorrow 2018.
