Hyderabad Central Mall Business Hotels: Scout's Picks

Here's what a location scout needs to know about bunking near Hyderabad Central Mall: proximity buys you time, and time is the one thing a shoot day never gives back. I spent years reading walled gardens for the exact week a border would turn - these days I read a hotel's own distance notes the same way, hunting the number that tells me how early I can get a crew moving. Fifteen business hotels sit within a workable radius of the mall; here's the quick-hit rundown, closest first, with the fact each property puts on its own record.

Mall-Radius Picks For Day-One Setups

If you're loading gear before sunrise, the number that matters most is the walk or drive to Hyderabad Central Mall itself. These three sit closest, by each property's own distance notes or a short district estimate where no exact figure is given.

Katriya Hotel And Tower

From INR1062

Hyderabad Central Mall sits 2.1 km away, per the property's own listed figure - the shortest confirmed distance on this whole list. An outdoor pool and two restaurants give a crew somewhere to decompress between recces. Check current rates.

Radisson Blu Plaza Hotel Hyderabad Banjara Hills

From INR9266

Roughly 2 km from Hyderabad Central Mall by my estimate, going off its Banjara Hills address and the 1 km the property quotes to the nearby GVK One mall. Three in-house dining rooms and free parking suit a crew that can't spare a van space. See the official listing.

Aditya Hometel

From INR4536

Sat in the centre of Ameerpet, Aditya Hometel is roughly 2 km from Hyderabad Central Mall going by its own distance marker to the nearby Shoppers Stop. A business centre with fax and photocopying is listed on the property's own sheet, handy for call sheets and paperwork ->

City-Centre Standbys When The Crew Needs A Home Base

Further from the mall but still workable for a production office, these three trade a few extra minutes on the road for city-centre convenience. One of them doesn't quote a distance at all, worth a call before you book.

Best Western Ashoka

From INR3957

Best Western Ashoka calls itself located in the heart of the city, which by its own 2 km-to-Nampally marker puts it roughly 3 km from Hyderabad Central Mall. Free Wi-Fi in public areas and 24-hour room service are both listed facts worth noting for late call times. Book this business hotel once dates lock.

7.8 Check availability

Royalton Hyderabad Abids

From INR4054

Abids sits close to the old city centre but further from the mall - call it roughly 6 km by local geography, since the property's own note covers only the 2 km to the city centre itself. A 24-hour gym and in-house business centre are both on its own list. Read reviews on Tripadvisor.

Hotel Saiprakash

From INR2220

Saiprakash doesn't list a distance to the mall or the city centre, only a 20 km run to the airport, so I'd confirm the mall walk with the hotel before booking a crew in. Per the property, the front desk runs 24 hours and staff speak English and Hindi. See the hotel's own site.

Banjara Hills: Early Light And A Longer Shoot Schedule

Banjara Hills clusters a handful of upscale stays within a short run of the mall, good for crews staying several days and wanting an easy start for first light. None of the three quotes a mall distance outright, so I've worked from the district and from what each does confirm.

The Leela Hyderabad Banjara Hills

From INR11582

Banjara Hills puts The Leela roughly 3 km from Hyderabad Central Mall by district distance; the property itself confirms only the 32 km airport run. A rooftop pool and yoga classes sit on its own facilities list, good for resetting after a long scouting day. For where to stay near Hyderabad Central Mall, this is the upscale end.

8.9 Check availability

Taj Krishna

From INR9845

Like its Banjara Hills neighbours, Taj Krishna is roughly 3 km from Hyderabad Central Mall - the property's own copy gives no mall or airport figure, so that's a district estimate rather than a hotel-quoted one. Two pools and three restaurants sit on its own facilities list, per the property. Check Tripadvisor ratings.

8.3 Check availability

The Golkonda Hotel

From INR483

Masab Tank in Banjara Hills puts The Golkonda Hotel roughly 4 km from Hyderabad Central Mall by local geography; the property's own figure covers only the 21 km run to the airport. Three restaurants, an outdoor pool and an airport shuttle are listed facts for crews flying in separately. See official rates.

Tech-Corridor Outposts For Hitec City And Gachibowli Jobs

If the brief is further out in the tech corridor, these four sit a longer drive from the mall but close to the HITEC City and Gachibowli job sites themselves. None states a mall distance, so I've used the same district estimate across all four.

Le Meridien Hyderabad

From INR7721

Gachibowli runs roughly 15 km from Hyderabad Central Mall by district distance; the property's own note covers only the 30-minute airport run. Five in-house restaurants and 17,300 sq ft of event space are listed facts, built more for a tech-corridor shoot than a mall-side one. Compare rates on Booking.com.

8.6 Check availability

Avasa Hotel

From INR5598

Avasa sits roughly 15 km from Hyderabad Central Mall by the same district estimate; the property's own figures cover the International Convention Centre at 2 km and the metro station at the hotel's exit gate. Four dining options and a health club are both listed facts for downtime between setups. Check Booking.com availability.

Akoya Business Hotel - Hitech City Hyderabad

From INR3089

Hitec City places this stay roughly 15 km from Hyderabad Central Mall, going off the same tech-corridor distance as its neighbours; the property's own figure runs only to the 34 km airport leg. City-view rooms with soundproofing are a listed fact worth having after a loud location day. Dates sit with this Akoya property.

Swansuites Gachibowli

From INR2220

Another Gachibowli stay, roughly 15 km from Hyderabad Central Mall by the same district estimate - the property's own note covers only the 31 km airport run. Adults-only rooms and a private check-in are listed facts, useful for a quieter edit suite after hours. Browse Hyderabad Central Mall hotels like this one for the full set.

Secunderabad And Begumpet Crossings

Two more sit on the Secunderabad side of the lake, further from the mall but still inside the metro's reach. Both lean on their own railway-station distances rather than a mall figure.

Hotel Asrani International Secunderabad

From INR4150

Secunderabad runs roughly 10 km from Hyderabad Central Mall by local geography; the property's own figure covers only the 28 km airport run. A minimarket, outdoor fireplace and private check-in are listed facts for a lower-key crew stay. View on Google Travel.

Vivanta Hyderabad, Begumpet

From INR6177

Begumpet sits roughly 5 km from Hyderabad Central Mall, going off the property's own 5 km distance to Hyderabad Railway Station as the nearest fixed point it quotes. Prakash Nagar Metro station is a five-minute walk per the property, useful if the van's stuck in traffic. View on Google Travel.

Final Location Report: My Pick And One Fix

If I had to bet the production budget on one, it's Katriya - the only property here that states its mall distance to the decimal, and in scouting that kind of precision earns trust fast. The question I get asked most on these roundups: can a crew get an early check-in after a dawn shoot? Most of these quote a 24-hour front desk, but ring ahead and ask the hotel's own business centre to confirm before the call sheet goes out. Back with the next dispatch soon.
