Amelia is a London-based writer who recently completed an MA in Screenwriting at the National Film and Television School. She started her career in advertising production, co-running a small commercials production company and it was during this time, working with publishers to adapt novels into promotional short films, that she discovered a love of screenwriting.
Amelia is currently in the writers' room, and writing an episode, for Peter Kosminskey's upcoming Channel 4 series AN UNDECLARED WAR (Playground Entertainment). She is also developing a number of original projects for television, including HEADCASE (Drama Republic), and a feature film entitled BULLY (Pia Pressure/Stray Bear) with director Lewis Arnold. She has also written on a number of short films including PAUL (Dir. Jamie Childs), DEAD BIRDS (Dir. Johnny Kenton), THE LIGHT REFRACTS INTO THE SHADOWS (Dir. Kevin Yeh) and BLOOD TYPE (Dir. Jeongmin Lee).
