Alastair Siddons is a writer, director, and producer working across documentary and drama. He has most recently written episodes of Steve McQueen's TV series, SMALL AXE, for BBC/Amazon, which filmed in London last year.
Alastair's debut fiction feature, TRESPASS AGAINST US, which he wrote and produced, with Potboiler/Film4/BFI, premiered at the Toronto Film Festival in 2016 and starred Michael Fassbender & Brendan Gleeson. He also recently co-wrote the TOMB RAIDER reboot, starring Alicia Vikander, for MGM Studios/GK Films.
Alastair has directed three documentary features: TURN IT LOOSE; INSIDE OUT: THE PEOPLE'S ART PROJECT, which premiered at Tribeca Film Festival in 2013 and aired on HBO in 2014; and most recently SERENDIPITY with multi-disciplinary artist Prune Nourry (Angelina Jolie & Darren Aronofsky served as Executive Producers), which premiered in February 2019 at the Berlin Film Festival. Currently, Alastair is lead writer on Riz Ahmed’s new TV series BRADRRRI (House Productions/BBC).
