Jake is a London-based playwright, lyricist and director. He wrote the book and co-wrote the lyrics for the new musical adaptation of Sue Townsend’s THE SECRET DIARY OF ADRIAN MOLE AGED 13 3/4 for Leicester Curve and PW Productions, which opened in March 2015 and which was recently performed at the Menier Chocolate Factory in London to rave reviews. His original play FOUR PLAY ran at the Old Vic New Voices Festival in June 2015 starring Richard Madden and Jeremy Irvine, and was on at Theatre 503 in early 2016. In August 2015 he premiered his original new NYMT musical PRODIGY at St James Theatre and in December 2015 his co-written production of Red Riding Hood was on at the Pleasance Theatre. For screen he is currently adapting his screenplay WIDOWED for TV with 42 and his play FOUR PLAY for TV with Wall to Wall. He also took part in the BBC TV Drama Writer's programme 2016.
Jake is a graduate of the Royal Court Theatre’s 2010 Supergroup and in 2011 he took part in the Old Vic Theatre’s US/UK Exchange programme.
