Comedy writer, performer, musician and filmmaker Greig Johnson is also the non-fictional alter ego of fictional artist, director and movie star Lunge Dolphin. He was recently seen on the satirical show THE MASH REPORT for BBC2. Greig's debut short film was nominated for Best UK Short at Leeds International Film Festival. His following short 'Hilarity' was shortlisted for the BBC Talent New Filmmaker Award and Best UK Short at both Leeds and Hull International Film Festivals, and subsequently screened for a month at the Kino Aero in Prague. His adaptation of William Burroughs' 'MR BRADLEY MR MARTIN HEAR US THROUGH THE HOLE IN THIN AIR' received nominations for Best Yorkshire Short again at both Leeds and Hull, and screened at festivals in Berlin, Montreal and Denmark. Most recently, in October 2013, the same short was one of only six films nominated for Best UK Short at Raindance Film Festival. Greig has a PhD for reasons that are no longer relevant and is currently writing and developing comedy projects for television.
