REVIEWS
EVENING STANDARD - Bruce Dessau
“Mature character comedy…a dark delight…great”
THE STAGE
"a well crafted sketch show that hits the audience right where it laughs
Fordham and Lipson know their audience, as the peals of laughter attested"
THE DAILY TELEGRAPH - CELEBRITY CHOICE - Edward Petherbridge
"They're so wonderful...real people grotesque-ified, deliciously dark to the downright silly"
EVENING STANDARD THURSDAY 23RD FEBRUARY 2006
CRITIC’S CHOICE TOP FIVE COMEDY SHOWS By Bruce Dessau
Fordham & Lipson
New Wimbledon Theatre, SW10
Philippa Fordham and Simon Lipson first came up with their battle-of-the sexes sketch show, He Barks, She Bites, in the early Nineties and have now refined and revived it. Expect a mixture of instantly recongnisable characters, tart observations and modish dark humour on the nature of the mating game. |
