Nina
started doing stand-up / ventriloquism in January
2002. Since then her and her alter ego Monkey
have enjoyed a terrific success, winning
the BBC New Comedy Awards. As an actress,
Nina spent two years at the Royal Shakespeare
Company. Following this she went to Edinburgh
with a one-woman ventriloquial farce 'LET ME OUT'
written for her by the eccentric genius Ken Campbell.
After several years of headlining gigs all around
the country, Nina then went on to play Dylan Moran's
girlfriend in Channel 4's BAFTA winning BLACK
BOOKS. After gigging extensively throughout England,
and playing Harrah's Casino in Las Vegas, Nina
went to The Edinburgh Festival as part of The
Comedy Clone at the Pleasance. Recent work includes
'BROMWELL HIGH' which aired on BBC 2
and CLAIRE IN THE COMMUNITY which was a massive
success on Radio 4. Nina recently appeared in the sketch show BLUNDER
for Channel 4 and is currently writing for her own TV show. She has just completed a month long run at the Melbourne Comedy Festival where she one the prestigous BARRY Award, and is currently on a UK Tour.
